Clypt is local-first by design. Your clypts live on your phone, not in a profile or with trackers. And if you enable sync, it travels end-to-end encrypted through your own Drive: nothing is stored on our side. An architectural promise, not a privacy policy.

Clypt Premium unlocks unlimited clypts and collections, on-device Intelligence (semantic search, OCR, summaries, image search), E2E multi-device sync, multi-image gallery, recurring reminders, advanced filters, advanced statistics and full personalization (themes, navbar, sub-collections).
Your data stays on your phone. You switch to the free tier (300 clypts, 10 collections). Nothing is deleted.
If you regularly share content from other apps, want to find a link or PDF weeks later, or use multiple devices — yes.
Yes. By default your clypts live only in the app's private sandbox: uninstall and they're gone locally. The only possible copies are the ones YOU enable, Google Drive backup (encrypted, in your own Drive) and multi-device sync (end-to-end encrypted). In both cases, we can't read your content.
Enable Google Drive backup in settings. Your data is exported to a private folder in your Drive, invisible from drive.google.com. On your new phone, restore with one tap.
Because an account means a server, and a server means your data belongs to us too. Clypt works the other way: your data is 100% yours, so it stays with you.
No. All Intelligence, search by meaning, related clypts, OCR, image search, summaries, runs on your phone. Models are downloaded once (Wi-Fi recommended), then run offline. No request is ever sent to an AI service.
Yes, and it's optional. You pair your devices with a 6-digit code; they then share a key we never have. Everything travels end-to-end encrypted between your devices via your Drive. Nothing is stored on our side. No account required.
